Blue Hound Auctions has two professional auctioneers.

Matt Price - NCAFL 8267

Matt Price was born in Dansville, New York and moved to North Carolina in 1984. He graduated John T. Hoggard High School and has two Associates Degrees in Engineering. The first, Computer Engineering was the start of his Infomration Systems career, with the second, Industrial Engineering allowed him to continue integrating Industrial Applications such as technologies built by GE Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, and Hewlett-Packard into a series of advancements in those technologies.

In 2005, he completed his Bachelors of Science Degree in Information Technology and has integrated all of the experiences and new skills into programming, systems integration in addition to a new host of applications.

As the Information Systems outlook changed from it's heyday to a more subdued space, as companies continue to oursource their core businesses, it became clear to Mr. Price that it may be time to integrate his eBay experience and his Information Technology experience. From there, it was abundantly clear that the road only started at the integration point, and continued through licensure as an auctioneer.

In 2006, Mr. Price went to auctioneering school and at the conclusion of the class became a fully licensed auctioneer. Combining high ethics and morals with auctioneering plus business sense, Matt is becoming well known in the auction community.

Matt's favorite quote: " Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship. Because as long as you're there, you can make a difference." - William Shatner, Star Trek: Generations
