How do Auctioneers Get Paid? All auctioneers charge a fee to auction your items. They may charge a commission or a flat fee. Every auctioneer is different depending on his/her business expenses.

The fee is also dependant on what you are marketing. Expensive items will generally have lower commissions or fees than lower priced items. They may have other charges for labor, advertising, photos, tents, porta pottie, set up, clean up, Internet etc. These expenses vary from auction to auction because every auction is unique. Keep in mind a lower commission or flat fee doesn’t mean you save or make more money.

How do we start? To begin the process of consigning with Blue Hound Auctions, LLC, the first step is to contact us by phone, e-mail or by completing the “Contact Me” form. 

After talking with the auctioneer and providing a general background and description of the items you are interested in consigning, you can e-mail or mail us the photos. 

These photos will be thoroughly reviewed and you will be contacted within 48 hours with an opinion of value. Auction estimates are free of charge and at no obligation. Our auctioneers are also available to make an onsite inspection of your items.  You can make an appointment through calling or emailing us.
